Where art meets pastry
For the festive season, Drawing House unveils a limited-edition Yule log, born from the encounter between artistic creation and pastry craftsmanship.
Artists Florentine & Alexandre Lamarche-Ovize bring their creative world together with that of Perrine Jamma, pastry chef at Drawing House, to imagine a creation designed as both an indulgent and artistic experience.
The artists
For many years, Florentine & Alexandre Lamarche-Ovize have developed a collaborative practice spanning drawing, ceramics and the decorative arts. Their work draws inspiration from everyday life, art history and popular culture, creating a vibrant world where patterns, colours and narratives come together. For this collaboration with Drawing House, they have designed an original ceramic platter, specially created to accompany the Yule log. An art piece to keep long after the festive season, extending the creation beyond the tasting experience.
Perrine Jamma
Perrine Jamma, pastry chef at Drawing House, creates the hotel’s sweet creations throughout the seasons. Her approach to pastry focuses on indulgence, balanced flavours and carefully selected ingredients.
Through her creations, she develops a contemporary and generous style of pastry-making, where flavour combinations, textures and seasonality take centre stage.
The Christmas Yule Log
For this limited edition, Perrine Jamma has created a Yule log featuring plum, mirabelle plum and thyme, combined with the sweetness of white chocolate and hazelnut.
A composition conceived as a taste of summer in the heart of winter, echoing the colourful and generous world of Florentine & Alexandre Lamarche-Ovize.
Presented on a ceramic platter designed by the artists and included with each Yule log, this creation is available in a limited edition of just 50 and is designed to serve up to 12 people.
